Detail Description
The entire series consists of sixteen individual reliefs, which are being offered in both bronze and paper-cast versions. The first relief portrays from a dramatic angle the upper torso of the Statue of Liberty. The word “LIBERTY” appears in raised letters across the lower portion of the relief. In the fourteen subsequent reliefs the word “LIBERTY” appears in the native language of the group represented by that particular relief. The final sculpture is a visual composite of all the national groups.
As an investment vehicle, commemorative series have always appreciated in value. The Liberty Commemorative Bas-Relief Series should be the msot collectible art series ever produced.
The Statue of Liberty-Ellis Island Foundation-the only organization recognized by the Federal Government to raise funds for the restoration of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island has exclusively granted the right to Fine Art Ltd. to produce bronze castings, paper castings, seriagraphs and fine art posters.
