Gerd Hesness has won many awards including The Maurice B. Hexter Prize from the National Sculpture Society, The Rachel Leah Armour Award from the Allied Artist’s of America and the Helen Foster Barnett Prize from the National Academy of Design. She has had work exhibited at the National Sculpture Society, Salmagundi Club in New York, and the Shidoni Gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico. In addition she has been listed in Who’s Who in American Art, Hesness is an Instructor and Administrator at the Frudakis Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia.
