Connelly a native Philadelphian, began practicing his art career as a fiction and figure illustrator receiving commissions from such national magazines as “The Saturday Evening Post” Since 1973 he has contributed his talent to the Franklin Mint Sculptors Studio Connely is a member of the American Medallic Sculpture Association and he has been listed in Who’s Who in American Art. In addition to receiving awards for his painting his works have been exhibited at the F.I.D.E.M Conference Florence Italy: The Delaware Valley Arts Association The Art Directors Club and the Art Alliance.
